Welcome to MangaJDM.com. These terms apply when you use our website or buy from us. By placing an order, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
MangaJDM.com is operated by Neochrome, Inc., based in California, USA. You can reach us at support@mangajdm.com.
2. Our products
We sell original car-culture art on t-shirts, mugs, notebooks, prints, and other collectibles. Every item is printed to order by our production partners.
- Colors can look slightly different on your screen than in real life, and print placement can shift a little from item to item. That's normal for made-to-order goods and isn't treated as a defect.
- Product photos and mockups are for illustration only.
- We may change, update, or discontinue products and designs at any time.
3. Orders and pricing
- All prices are in US dollars. Taxes and shipping are calculated at checkout.
- An order is accepted once we confirm it by email. We can refuse or cancel an order, for example after a pricing error, suspected fraud, or if an item becomes unavailable. If we cancel, you get a full refund.
- If we list a price by mistake, we'll contact you before we fulfill the order.
4. Payment
Payment is processed securely by Shopify and our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
5. Shipping
Items are usually made within a few business days and then shipped. Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Once a package is with the carrier, it belongs to you, but we'll still help if it gets lost (see our Refund Policy).
6. Returns and refunds
Returns, cancellations, and refunds follow our Refund Policy.
7. Artwork and intellectual property
All designs, artwork, text, and images on this site belong to MangaJDM.com or are used with permission. Buying a product gives you the item for personal use. It doesn't give you the right to copy, resell, or reproduce the artwork. Please don't use our designs without written permission.
8. No affiliation with automakers
Our designs are original artwork celebrating car culture. Vehicle makes and models are mentioned only to describe the cars shown. MangaJDM.com is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any automaker, and all trademarks belong to their owners.
9. Using our site
Please don't misuse the site. That includes attempting fraud, interfering with how the site works, scraping content, or using it for anything unlawful. We may block access for anyone who does.
10. Reviews and submissions
If you post a review, photo, or comment, you confirm it's yours to share. You also give us permission to display it on our site and social media, crediting you by first name or handle.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
12. Product care
Follow the care instructions for each item. For example, wash shirts inside out and hand-wash mugs if the listing says so. We aren't responsible for wear caused by misuse or by not following those instructions.
13. Privacy
We handle your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
14. Dispute resolution and arbitration
Talk to us first. If you have a problem with an order or with these terms, email support@mangajdm.com first. Most issues can be fixed quickly. If we can't resolve it within 30 days, either of us may start arbitration as described below.
Binding arbitration. Any dispute arising from these terms, our website, or your purchases will be resolved by binding individual arbitration rather than in court. The exceptions are small claims and intellectual property claims, covered below. Arbitration will be run by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, in front of a single arbitrator. Hearings will take place in Los Angeles County, California, or by phone or video if you prefer. For claims under $10,000, you can choose to have the arbitration decided on written submissions alone.
Costs. For claims under $10,000, we'll pay all AAA filing, administration, and arbitrator fees, unless the arbitrator finds your claim was frivolous. Each side pays its own attorneys' fees unless the law or the arbitrator awards them.
Small claims court. Either of us can bring an individual claim in small claims court in Los Angeles County, or in your home county, instead of going to arbitration.
Individual claims only. Claims can only be brought individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in a class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding. If this class-action waiver is found unenforceable for a particular claim, that claim goes to court instead of arbitration.
Intellectual property. Either of us may go to court in Los Angeles County to protect copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property.
Governing law and venue. These terms are governed by the Federal Arbitration Act and the laws of the State of California, setting aside conflict-of-law rules. Any claim that goes to court will be heard in the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California, and both parties agree to those courts' jurisdiction.
Survival. This section still applies after an order is completed or these terms end.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
